Boeing X-48C Blended Wing Body first-ever flight

The Boeing X-48C Blended Wing Body unmanned research aircraft took to the skies on its first-ever flight at 7:56 a.m. a.m. Pacific Time on Aug. 7 from NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards Air Force Base in California. The vehicle climbed to an altitude of 5,500 feet before landing 9 minutes later.
